Reports from credible sources says he issued a temporary restraining order to the president’s order.
He argued that the decision to ban foreign students would cause immediate and irreparable injury to the institution.
Recall that in May 22, 2025, the Donald Trump administration revoke Harvard’s SEVP certification which with immidiate effect barred the university from enrolling new international students for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The order also means the institution will have to require at least 6,800 current international students by transferring to other institutions.
