Video of the Adum macho guy who allegedly tried attacking Ashanti Regional minister
Two-story buildings plus several shops have been torched in a fire outbreak in the central business district of Adum in Kumasi.

The fire at the popular Blue Light arena, close to Hello FM, started around 6 am and spread rapidly as fire officers made attempts to contain the blaze.

Panicking traders had to break into their shops to throw out their wares as the fire ravaged them.
Most of the shops deal in mobile phones and accessories, jewellery, and clothing.

According to an eyewitness account, the fire sparked from a flicking electricity pole in the area, leading to a spark on the top floor of one of the buildings.
During a swift visit to the scene by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene – A macho Adum guy allegedly tried attacking the government appointee but was immediately overpowered.
A video from the incident that has surfaced on social media shows how 5 policemen restricted him from getting close to the minister.

Some of the police officers hit his chest and arms in the process. Despite the restriction from the armed men, the Adum guy tried facing off with them but he was later sent away from the crowd.
