OFFICIAL: Ghana youth star Jerry Afriyie seals loan move to Belgian side RAAL La Louviere

Ghanaian youngster Jerry Afriyie has officially joined Belgian Pro League outfit RAAL La Louviere on a season-long loan from Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah, GistReel News can confirm

The 18-year-old striker, who has been tipped as one of Ghana’s most promising prospects, will spend the 2025/26 campaign in Belgium after impressing during a recent loan spell with Spanish side CD Lugo.

His move to La Louviere comes as the newly-promoted club strengthens its squad ahead of a challenging debut season in the Belgian top-flight.

Afriyie rose to prominence in 2024 with standout performances for Ghana’s U-20 team, the Black Satellites, before making his senior debut for the Black Stars.

His quick rise earned him recognition as a future star for Ghanaian football, with his blistering pace, dribbling ability, and clinical finishing making him a handful for defenders.

La Louviere are confident the Ghanaian striker will play a key role in their attack as they aim to establish themselves in the Belgian top division.
