National Security officials earlier this morning were at the Adenta residence of Alfred Kumu, known popularly as Adenta Kumi) to arrest him.
Facts available to us confirmed that Adenta Kumi is a petitioner in the ongoing Chief Justice removal probe.
Adenta Kumi petitioned President John Mahama to dissolve the committee inquiring into the petitions for removal S-CJ Gertrude Torkornoo.
Some of the reasons he highlighted in his petition was that some Justices aren’t fit to be a member of the committee.
It has also been revealed that Adenta Kumi alleges the judges sitting on CJ’s case met privately with Thaddeus Sory at a restaurant.

The National security is yet to make any public statement on his arrest but videos available confirmed the arrest in a dawn raid.
It is not really known the exact reason for his arrest but judging by the timing, it definitely has to do with the ongoing Chief Justice’s removal probe.
