Actor and filmmaker Lil Win has drawn a clear line when it comes to matters of faith — and this time, he isn’t joking. The A Country Called Ghana star says he won’t sit quietly while people bad-mouth Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, founder of the Believers Worship Centre.
Speaking in an interview with Sean City, Lil Win said the man of God has become more than a pastor to him.
“If you speak against my father, you won’t like my reaction,” he said with his usual energy. “Our father, Adom Kyei Duah, shows us the ways of God, and when you truly love and respect someone, you stand up for them.”
The actor explained that his strong defense of the preacher comes from genuine affection, not blind loyalty. He added that every child protects a father they love, and that’s how he feels about the Philadelphia Movement leader.
Some critics have suggested Lil Win is taking things too personally, considering he joined the church not long ago. But he brushed off those comments.
“Faith has nothing to do with how long you’ve been a member,” he said. “It’s about connection and belief.”
Lil Win also clarified that his past appearances with other pastors were strictly business.
“Back then, I was doing my job. You invite me, you pay me, I show up. But now I’ve found a church that aligns with my spirit,” he noted.
“Some fans say Lil Win’s loyalty is admirable, others think he’s going too far. Either way, he’s got everyone talking again.”
