Popular US-based Ghanaian political commentator Kevin Ekow Taylor, has been hit with a GHS 20 million defamation lawsuit by Dr. Williams Anarfi Sarpong, a Tema-based herbal medical officer and owner of Spintex Hospital.

Dr. Sarpong’s legal action follows allegations made by Taylor on his Loud Silence Media platform, where he accused the medical practitioner of faking his credentials and engaging in fraudulent activities.
According to court documents, Dr. Sarpong insists that Taylor’s statements were baseless and intended to tarnish his reputation.

He argued that the allegations have caused significant damage to his personal and professional credibility, warranting the hefty compensation claim.
Taylor, known for his outspoken and often controversial commentary, had reportedly challenged Dr. Sarpong to take legal action if he felt defamed.

With this lawsuit now filed, the media personality may have to substantiate his claims before the court.
