“It all began after her birthday” – Lady explains reason behind Regina Daniels’ alleged marriage crisis
A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions on social media after sharing the alleged reason behind about the alleged marital tension between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko.
The TikTok user claimed the drama reportedly began shortly after Regina celebrated her birthday.
Lady Explains Why Regina’s Marital Issue Surfaced After Her Birthday
In a viral TikTok video, the lady identified as @ojoh_sams gave her perspective on what may have triggered the alleged disagreement between the celebrity couple.
She suggested that the problem started soon after Regina Daniels marked her birthday, hinting that the actress’s growing popularity might have played a role.
“Ned Nwoko Felt Threatened by Regina’s Popularity” – Lady Claims
According to the TikToker, the billionaire politician may have become uneasy about the increasing love and support Nigerians were showing towards his wife.
She alleged that Nwoko might have preferred when Regina was solely dependent on him for emotional and social validation, claiming the marriage appeared to thrive when the actress faced public criticism in its early years.
Regina’s Interaction with Fans Allegedly Sparked Jealousy
The lady also pointed out that Regina’s newfound openness with her fans could have unsettled her husband.
She recalled that the actress had recently been engaging fans on TikTok and Instagram, often giving out cash gifts sometimes as much as ₦50,000 to random followers who dropped their account numbers in her comment section.
She claimed these acts of kindness revealed how much love and admiration Regina now enjoyed from Nigerians, which she believed Nwoko did not appreciate.
“It’s Narcissism” – TikToker Accuses Ned Nwoko of Manipulation
In the viral clip, @ojoh_sams accused the politician of displaying “narcissistic tendencies,” stating that some men tend to ridicule or manipulate women when they feel threatened by their rising confidence and popularity.
She said Regina Daniels was now being unfairly mocked and targeted, despite allegedly being a victim of mistreatment.
The TikToker further condemned society for trivializing women’s pain, especially when they suffer abuse or humiliation, stressing that many people prefer to laugh at victims instead of showing empathy.
In her words:
“That man doesn’t want Regina Daniels to be loved by Nigerians. He wants her to always run to him for comfort and validation. I think the fact that Nigerians hated her was why that marriage worked out so well in the first few years. Now that she’s becoming comfortable with her fans and even interacting with them, it’s making him feel irrelevant. I’ve applied critical thinking and realized there’s something about Regina’s birthday that made that man see how loved she truly is.
“When Regina Daniels first got married to Ned, she didn’t use to do giveaways. But recently, you’ll see her chatting in the comment section and asking people to send their account numbers—then she sends them fifty thousand naira. I know how many fifty thousand naira she has sent to people, including those on TikTok and Instagram. That man didn’t know that girl is loved. People have now started to warm up to her, so he had to do something that would make the whole world laugh at her again.
“That’s how narcissism works. When a woman starts to gain confidence or love from people, some men feel threatened. If that girl had ten million naira to give Nigerians, do you know the massive love she would receive? Everybody would want to be her, even her enemies. But he doesn’t want that. The timing of everything is just crazy. Men will stain your white. It’s well with that girl. Anyone who bashes her is foolish because she’s a victim—left, right, and center.
“When a woman is being beaten, people send thugs. When an old man sends thugs to beat a young girl, the first thing people do is laugh at the victim. We claim to be against child marriage and domestic violence, yet we still come out and laugh. Are we even serious?”
She added that the timing of the alleged incident, coming right after Regina’s birthday, was “no coincidence,” and insisted the public should show support rather than criticism.
The post has drawn massive attention on TikTok, with many users taking sides.
