Israel has conducted a series of airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, ballistic missile sites, and military leadership.
The strike according to reports is part of Israel’s operation described as a “preemptive strike” to counter Iran’s nuclear ambitions and military capabilities.
Among these strikes, reports indicate that a highly precise Israeli missile targeted the home of an Iranian commander in Tehran.
The missile pierced through a wall and causing significant internal damage to the commander’s apartment.
While specific details about the identity of the exact commander BRICS reported on X that the strike was aimed at a high-ranking member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Other sources with pointed to a member of the Iranian General Staff or a senior IRGC figure like Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, who was confirmed killed in the broader Israeli operation.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has condemned the strikes and promised a revenge.
It has already been speculated that Iranian officials are reportedly launching over 100 drones toward Israel in retaliation.
