In the Spanish edition of “Men’s Health,” fighter Ilia Topuria discusses his journey to challenge for the lightweight title after winning the UFC featherweight title.

Thus, Topuria said that “I’m quite motivated and excited to live this new adventure, to go up and change category, like changing house, place, and and environment.” In this sense, the fighter explained that “what people still do not understand is that I do not leave my weight category because it is super easy to give the weight; to give 70 kilos, I am small.
My anatomy naturally belongs to this weight. So more than one will encounter some problems that I’m sure will not be able to solve, but it will make me even more funny to live it in person.”
