I didn’t invite Tracy Shay to my concert- Sista Afia
Ghanaian singer, Sister Afia, has reacted to the issue surrounding her colleague, Wendy Shay, and her protégée, Tracey Shay.
In a lengthy post sighted by Gh Page, Sista Afia said, “My attention has been drawn to several social media stories, videos, and write-ups suggesting that I personally invited the young lady, Tracy Shay, onto the stage during my concert.”

The singer has falsified claims that she invited the young lady on stage to come and disrespect her fans, and Ghanaians at large.
She said “I wish to clearly state that I do not know how or when she got onto the stage, and I did not personally invite her to do so.”
Sista Afia noted in her post that at the moment, her focus is on how successful her 10th anniversary was, and never on the “Shay” brouhaha.
“At this moment, my main focus is on the overall success of my 10th Anniversary Celebration in the music industry, which was a significant milestone for my career”, she said.

Adding that “I am currently holding a series of meetings with my management and team to review all aspects of the event. A detailed response on this matter will be issued at the appropriate time.”
