Vinicius Jr. has put contract renewal talks on hold, as he is in no rush to sign a new deal, according to Marcos Benito on El Chiringuito TV.

Despite earlier reports suggesting an agreement was reached for a contract extension until 2030 with a €100 million package over five years, negotiations have stalled due to disagreements over his salary, with Vinicius’s camp demanding €30 million per year, including bonuses, while Real Madrid offered €15-20 million.
The 24-year-old Brazilian, whose current contract runs until 2027, is focused on maintaining control over his career amid interest from Saudi Arabia, though he has reiterated his commitment to Real Madrid, stating, “I hope I can stay here for many years. This is the club of my life.”
