A heartbreaking incident from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) confirms the death of a Level 100 student, affectionately known among his peers as Khon Void.

The brilliant and handsome guy took his own life after catching his girlfriend in bed with another man.

According to trending reports on social media, the tragic event happened when Khon Void walked in on his girlfriend having sex with another male student inside the hostel room.

He reportedly fainted on the spot and eye witnesses say it took the intervention of some concerned colleagues to revive him.

However, the emotional toll of the discovery proved unbearable and just a day after the incident, Khon Void hanged himself.

The shocking news has since taken over Ghana’s social media space with many users expressing sorrow, disbelief, and outrage over the circumstances that led to his death.

The late student was studying Arts Education and was affiliated with GUSS Hall, one of the university’s residential facilities.
